We got the late afternoon ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick on Arran. We only had 11 miles to cycle today.
Arran is known as ‘Little Scotland’ and we definitely experienced Scotland’s hills en route to the campsite!! I had 12 Kg of weight on my bike so it was a bit of a shock to the system climbing out from the port!
The campsite (Seal Shore) was on the edge of the beach with beautiful views out over the Isle of Pladda and was well equipped.
We quickly got the tent set up and went off for a shower and dinner.

Very pleasantly surprised how good this was!
