If you are thinking of a cycling adventure then the Hebridean Way is one I’d recommend.
Our trip was during July 2018 when the country was in the grip of a heatwave, we left Leicestershire in temperatures of 30 degrees centigrade, parts of our trip were about half that. We had rain on two days and moderate winds at times but overall we were quite lucky with the weather.
